Justin Tillotson Mao

Justin is a NCCAOM board-certified acupuncturist licensed in Delaware. He holds a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has over 3,000 hours of training in both acupuncture and herbal medicine. A second-generation acupuncturist, Justin first learned Chinese medicine through his parents, Dr. Alan and Naixin Tillotson. Justin has worked as a clinic acupuncturist at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine and Columbia University in New York.

At Chrysalis, Justin takes an integrative approach in helping patients identify the root causes of their illness. He specializes in treating digestive disorders, acute and chronic pain, autoimmune disease, infertility and emotional disorders. Treatments will often combine Chinese medicine with Western functional medicine involving vitamins, minerals, and nutritional supplements.

Prior to joining Chrysalis, Justin worked as a business consultant at Deloitte and Touché. He holds bachelor’s degrees in both Economics and International Affairs from George Washington University.
